Ikan Pari Kukus @ Steamed Stingray

Tiap2 kali masak ikan kukus mesti ingat kt abah.. ikan kukus n bakar, without nothing much apart from salt, mesti abah suka.. hehe.. but me biasa xleh nk makan sgt kalau rasa ikan terlalu kuat, so mesti nk cover dgn pelbagai mende..

Being here, the nearest market sold a variety types of fish. ayam pun byk, but semua non-muslim yg jual. nk beli ayam halal kene drive all the way tu Piasau (1kilo of chicken will cost you about 10-12 ringgit.. mahal x? kt semenanjung 5-6inggit je).

There are many types of ikan pari, yg ni nama ape ntah. got a pic in my hubby's hp, lupa nk transfer. Tried many recipes of steamed fish b4, this one is our fav. makan tiap2 hari pun xpe. hehe..

Steamed Stingray

  • Ikan pari (separuh <- mkn 2 org je, kn)
  • 1 btg serai
  • 3 ulas bawang putih
  • 3 inch halia
  • 1 bj limau nipis
  • 1/2 sudu garam

cara-cara

  • basuh ikan dgn asam jawa, n bilas
  • mayang serai, halia n bawang putih. perahkan limau nipis, n tambah garam.
  • lumurkn semua bahan td all over the fish.
  • letak semua dlm kukusan.
  • kukus sampai masak (dlm setengah jam aft boiling <- me always masak dgn lamanye.. hehe)
  • cicah ngan sambal kicap



sambal kicap

  • 3 bj bawang merah (or 1 bj bawang besar)
  • 3 bi cili padi
  • kicap pekat manis (me suka guna kicap kipas udang)

mayang bawang n hilis halia. masukkn kicap just to cover a part of the bawang.
kene prepare in advance (biar at least 15min), baru air bawang tu serap dlm kicap ^^
